Using the Calendar of Events database


To submit a new event to be posted in the SHU Calendar of Events Web Page/Lotus Notes database, please follow the below instructions:

From the Lotus Notes Client:
  1. From any of the Lotus Notes views within the database, click on the "Submit New Event" button in the upper left corner.
  2. You will be presented with a Calendar of Events Entry form.
  3. Please fill in as many fields as possible.
  4. The following fields are required: Title, Start Date, Event Category, E-mail Address
  5. Once you enter all the information, click on the Submit button.
  6. Your entry will be posted within 1 business day after review. If your event is not appropriate for this Calendar of Events, you will be notified via the e-mail address provided.
  7. If you have submitted an event which needs to be corrected, please email Lorraine Epps at eppslorr@shu.edu


From the Web
1. Click on the Submit Event link. At this point you will be prompted for your User Name and Password.
2. Please login using your WebMail ID and password
3. Once you login, you will be presented with a Calendar of Events Entry form.
4. Please fill in as many fields as possible.
5. The following fields are required: Title, Start Date, Event Category, E-mail Address
6. Once you enter all the information, click on the Submit button.
7. Your entry will be posted within 1 business day after review. If your event is not appropriate for this Calendar of Events, you will be notified via the e-mail address provided.
8. If you have submitted an event which needs to be corrected, please e-mail Lorraine Epps at eppslorr@shu.edu
