Hall locked down

Nobody was allowed on campus for close to two hours Monday night after South Orange police informed the university that somebody was coming to campus with a gun, according to Pat Linfante, assistant vice president for Public Safety and Security.

The past week has not been friendly for the men’s basketball team. After a nice five-game win streak, the Pirates have fallen victim to a four-game losing streak in the Big East as their record dropped to 15-10 (5-7) after a dismal showing on Tuesday night versus Marquette.
