In an effort to provide a better service to the University community, the Department of Information Technology, is in the process of preparing to move the Blackboard learning management system (MyWeb@SHU) to a hosted enviroment at the Blackboard data center. This will enable Blackboard to respond to our requests and problems in a quicker, more efficient manner to ensure the continuity of this mission critical application. In order to migrate all active courses, communites, ePortfolios and user data, including files in the content system the Blackboard learning system (MyWeb@SHU) will not be availble beginning 12:01 am on Dec 25, 2006. The system will remain closed until 8am on January 2, 2007. The way in which you access MyWeb@SHU will not change. | PLANNED MAINTENANCE |
