Description: | Social networking has become a phenomenon over the last five years and has great potential for learning communities in higher education. This workshop will focus on building your personal learning network using Twitter and building focused learning communities using the popular social network NING. During the first portion of this session we will discuss how to create a Twitter following centered on the topic(s) of your choice. Participants will also create a Collaborative Learning Community using NING and learn how to manage an online learning community. |
