Course Title:
Designing an Effective Presentation
Description:
The majority of presentations are poorly designed - we all have sat through them. While presentation tools such as PowerPoint are commonplace, knowledge of how to effectively use them is not. Aside from the lucky few who have a background in the creative arts, rarely do college courses cover design concepts or graphic fundamentals. Without this background it is easy to let the functions included with the software lead us down the wrong path towards ineffective communication of ideas and thoughts. However help is on the way. This session will cover working with images and text following effective graphic design principles. Come with an open mind and your presentations will never be the same!
