Many times our voice and body language do not effectively represent who and what we are. This workshop provides a variety of strategies and techniques that participants can use to increase self-confidence by improving their overall communication effectiveness in a variety of professional and personal settings. It focuses on how we can use our voice, speech and nonverbal body language to more accurately reflect personal value and professional image in the classroom, at conferences or in other settings. The workshop is interactive and will provide opportunities for participants to make short presentations. Presenters will receive feedback on vocal strengths and strategies to improve their communication skills.
